I have been interested in photography since my days at Heriot Watt University where I studied Pharmacy, a career I still practice today. My first camera was an East German Praktica , which was soon upgraded to an Olympus OM1. Sadly this camera was lost due to a burglary  . After a brief period without a camera I purchased a Canon A1 and became a keen user of the Canon brand , something which continues today where I use a Canon 5D Mk IV and a Canon R5 Mirrorless. My philosophy however is that you cannot have enough cameras in your collection. I am a keen collector of film cameras which include my old Canon film bodies, a number of Olympus OM bodies, some German 35mm cameras as well as a few Russian 35mm rangefinders. As well as a number of other digital models namely a Fuji XT-2 and a couple of Leica Q models complete my collection
